Example of 3D Printing used in Senior Design Project
The Systems Engineering Undergraduate Research Laboratory complements classroom instruction by providing hands-on, project-based learning experiences that integrate applied research, real-world problem solving, and collaborative design activities throughout the Systems Engineering (SYSE) curriculum. The lab offers students access to research tools, technologies, and faculty mentorship while fostering experiential learning and innovation. The laboratory also serves as a central hub for the Senior Capstone Design course, providing the infrastructure and collaborative environment needed to support high-impact student projects and prepare graduates with the technical, research, and professional skills required for success in systems engineering careers.
